A non-randomized clinical study using D-fraction and Maitake crude tablets was conducted to investigate if those are effective against cancer patients as they were against animals. The study was carried out with 165 patients with advanced cancer, stage III-IV, 25-65 years old. Most of the patients receiving the Maitake treatment claimed improvement of overall symptoms. The highest response rates were seen with breast, lung, and liver cancer patients. Among those receiving chemotherapy, side effects were ameliorated in 90% of cases.
